We spent the weekend adding in and fairing seam filler. It seems to be going a little slower than expected, but that is just the way it is. We have been experimenting with the maximum amount of epoxy that can be mixed at once in the 100 degree weather and it not “go off” in the can. Well, I am happy to report we found the magic maximum amount, and it created some work we did not want to do. The mix cured on us too quickly and we had to scrape it out and sand off the excess. It was the first time I have seen smoke rising from the hull during the cure. We had to redo that section of fairing with a smaller amounts in graduated applications.
